  • HELLO!

    Hi! My name is Renee and I love to laugh. I love Jesus, and adventures, and randomness, and rhyming, and sunshine. I really enjoy sunshine. I also love people, which really makes photography such a wonderful gift! I love to capture you being you, and telling your story through beautiful images. And you can bet we're going to have fun doing it!

    I'm based in Eugene, Oregon, but travel a lot and look forward to taking you with me everywhere I go - AND going everywhere you take me!

    Thanks for stopping by the blog! I look forward to getting to know you. I look forward to sharing important moments with you. And I consider it an honor to do so.

    Can't wait to meet you!

engaged :: ashley + ryan [eugene, oregon]

These two.

We did a two-part shoot for these two. Part one: CrossFit version. Part two: Wander Eugene version. We had a blast both times. I left the gym feeling pretty bad about myself and my inability to lift another person (oh wait, I lift my babe all the time!), but feeling pretty great about the time we had. Then we started part two where Ryan proposed, and ended with some yummy afternoon light by the river. I’m so happy for these two and can’t wait for their wedding this August!

newborn :: brand new chance

There are quite a few things I love about my job.

This is one of them.

Getting to be a little part of these amazing moments in people’s lives [especially when it's people I love] is such an honor. I didn’t get to be there when Chance made his entry into the world [this mama has her babies quick like lightning], but I got to come soon after.

Chance is a pretty happy, wonderful, cute chunk of a fellow. And I’m glad I get to know him.

personal :: her view

One of my favorite things about having a baby is watching her discover the world. Literally everything in the whole wide world is new to her, so her excitement and appreciation for the tiniest, most normal things is contagious! I started this little project when I noticed her looking out her nursery window. I couldn’t tell exactly what she was looking at, so I got down on the floor right next to her to see what she was seeing. And then this idea was born. It’s a fun process – gets me to look at the world from her perspective and appreciate normal things like shoes – but it’s also given me some fun results.

So I decided to share her world with you. From the food on her tray, to fun light on the carpet, to her little fingers grabbing my nose as she nurses, enjoy. And hopefully this will challenge you to see the world through brand new eyes today. It’s really quite full of beauty.

Faye - Such a cool idea! My absolute favorites are the rainbow on the carpet (what a capture) and the underside of the clothing in the closet.
